Melon AI uses advanced artificial intelligence to analyze the visual characteristics of your fruits. Our AI examines factors like color, texture, and visible defects to categorize fruits as "best," "good," or "okay." The analysis is based on visual appearance only and does not assess taste or internal quality.

Why does the app need access to my camera or photo library?

Melon AI needs access to your camera to take photos of fruits for analysis, or to your photo library to select existing fruit images. We only access the specific images you choose to analyze, and we don't store your personal photos on our servers.

How accurate is the fruit analysis?

While our AI is continuously improving, no automated analysis is perfect. The app provides a good estimate based on visual appearance, but factors like lighting conditions and camera quality can affect results. Use the analysis as a helpful guide, not as a definitive assessment of fruit quality.

What types of fruits can the app analyze?

Melon AI currently supports the analysis of four specific types of melons: watermelon, durian, cantaloupe, and canary melon. We're working on expanding our recognition capabilities to include more fruit varieties in future updates.

Is my data private?

Yes! We take your privacy seriously. Images are processed for immediate analysis and are not stored on our servers.

Does Melon AI offer refunds?

No, Melon AI does not offer refunds.

Can I cancel my purchase and get a refund?

Troubleshooting

The app can't access my camera

Please check your device's privacy settings to ensure Melon AI has permission to access your camera. On iOS, go to Settings → Privacy → Camera. On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Melon AI → Permissions.

The analysis results seem incorrect

For best results, take photos in good lighting conditions with the fruit clearly visible and centered in the frame. Avoid shadows and make sure the fruit is not obscured. You can always take another photo if you're not satisfied with the results.

The app is crashing or running slowly

Try closing other apps running in the background to free up memory. You can also try restarting your device. If problems persist, make sure you're using the latest version of the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
